Clutch Kit - HK6216 BORG & BECK

The clutch is a unit that belongs to the transmission of a car, and has several functions, the task of which is reduced to the main one - the safe connection of the engine and the gearbox. The clutch is mounted on the engine and is actually an extension of it (the place where the rotation generated by the engine crankshaft is transmitted). The drive parts are supplied to the clutch, ensuring the operability and ease of control of the clutch.

The construction of the clutch

The BORG & BECK brand Clutch Kit is a sub-assembly in which the moving parts are covered with a special cover called the clutch housing. The crankcase separates the clutch parts from the outside, i.e. ingress of dirt and foreign objects that may interfere with the operation of the clutch. Other parts included in the clutch are the clutch pressure plate, the clutch driven plate and the release bearing.
