The task of the FEBI BILSTEIN brand Urea Filter is to capture the smallest particles that are contained in the exhaust gases of modern engines and can penetrate deep into our respiratory tract (this is why they are more dangerous than large flakes of old engines - they do not reach our lungs). Initially, this applied only to diesel engines, but in recent years, gasoline engines have also been equipped with such filters. As the trapped particles accumulate, the filter becomes clogged and requires burning (regeneration).

The operation of urea filter
