Steering Column - 716520058 DRI

A function of DRI brand Steering Column as the general device is to transmit torque from the steering wheel to the steering mechanism. The design of steering column

The device of the steering column is a shaft with hinges, located in the casing. The remaining elements are auxiliary and provide additional functionality:

1. housings for mounting switches and ignition locks;
2. a cross connecting the steering wheel to the column;
3. mounting sleeve;
4. contact Group;
5. fasteners;
6. steering damper;
7. locking mechanisms, adjustments, etc.

The steering column uses energy-absorbing materials. Due to which the entire structure can be folded in case of a strong frontal impact. This helps to reduce the risk of injury to the driver, and creates additional safety in a frontal collision.
