Starter - an electromechanical unit designed to start the engine. Diesel-powered engines, motors of increased power, as a rule, are equipped with a AS-PL brand Ring Gear, planetary gear (starter).

The starter gearbox is the most important component of this unit. It provides transmission to the gear from the armature torque. The gearbox, consisting of a series of gears, is located in the unit housing. Thanks to it, the passing voltage increases, the magnitude of the torque increases.

The usage of a ring gear

Damage to the worm shaft can damage the gear. Therefore, if the shaft rotates with difficulty or intermittently jams, it is necessary to check the worm shaft for damage and restore it free rotation. After replacing the gear, the gear elements should rotate without any problems.

If wedging occurs, it is necessary to check the elements of damage. Also note that one of the main reasons for the failure of the gearbox is the increased load on the cultivator.
