In every modern transport, a high-pressure fuel pump is installed. Conventionally, this node is compared with the human heart, which ensures continuous blood circulation throughout the body. But in reality, the purpose of the fuel pump module is much broader. It allows metering of the supplied fuel. The size of the portion of the latter directly depends on the load. Fuel is pumped into the injectors. Thanks to the high-pressure fuel pump, the moment of fuel injection directly into the cylinders is determined.

The functionality of the fuel supply module
