The ingress of moisture into the auto-air conditioner system is extremely dangerous, since water, under the influence of low temperatures, turns into ice, which clogs the lines. To remove moisture in a timely manner, a special filter drier, or receiver, is installed in the high-pressure lines. Its main function is to absorb water accidentally entering the system. In addition, the design of the air conditioner filter provides for the cleaning of freon from solid impurities.

The functionality of the ACKOJA brand Dryer, air conditioning

The design of the receiver-drier is quite simple, but effective. It is a tube filled with an adsorbent - granules of synthetic zeolite, which has the ability to actively absorb water. To control the state of the refrigerant flowing through the filter, a transparent window is made in the receiver housing of the auto-air conditioner.

The receiver is extremely important to ensure trouble-free operation of the car air conditioner. It protects the system from negative phenomena associated with the ingress of water from the outside air: from the formation of ice plugs in the tubes, impairment of the tubes' patency and a decrease in the oil supply to the compressor.
