The usage of the alternator repair kit

Depending on the generator model and the manufacturer of the AS-PL brand Repair Kit, alternator, its composition may be different. Here is the most typical one:

1. Bearings (installed on the armature shaft, in the body and in the back cover);
2. Diode bridge, used to convert alternating current into direct current;
3. Brush holder;
4. Nuts, washers, bolts for fastening the generator;
5. Brushes;
6. voltage regulator.

When disassembling the generator, it turns out that its other components are worn out thoroughly and it is reasonable to replace them as well. In addition, when dismantling the unit, you will most likely damage the bolts and fastening nuts.
